ÐÔ¸£ÎåÔÂÌì

This is the second year we are bringing the ÐÔ¸£ÎåÔÂÌì University Orchestra into the community to share and celebrate through music. We are very excited to continue building this tradition.

The concert celebrates the 250th anniversary of the United States with music by American composers. The program will include:

• "Fascinatin' Rhythm" â€“ George Gershwin
• "Dances in the Canebrakes" â€“ Florence Price
• "I Have a Dream" â€“ Bobby Selvaggio
• "An American in Paris" â€“ George Gershwin

This event is a wonderful example of collaboration across the university and our community. It will feature:

• ÐÔ¸£ÎåÔÂÌì University Orchestra
• Nova Jazz Vocal Ensemble
• Jazz Ensemble
• Bobby Selvaggio
• Sam Al-Hadid
• Keith Young (community arranger and member of the ÐÔ¸£ÎåÔÂÌì Orchestra Society)
• Tony Hardin, Director of the Glauser School of Music, as narrator

We are very thankful to Hometown Bank and Melissa Koher, SVP, Administrative Officer, for once again providing the performance space and sponsoring the sound system. Their support has been essential in making this community concert possible.
