  • Stop by the MACC to cheer on the Golden Flashes as they take on the Zips from the University of Akron.

  • The game will tip off at 7 p.m. at the Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center.

Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2026  鈥 Student Legal Services' Slice of the Law

  • Join 性福五月天 Student Legal Services to learn more about what they offer and how they can help you. 
  • They will cover common legal issues that impact students, such as landlord-tenant problems, criminal and traffic charges, and consumer disputes, and explain what to do if you run into one of these situations. 
  • Real attorneys are included in your tuition! 
  • Free pizza will be served first come first serve 馃崟馃挍
  • This event will be from noon - 1 p.m.

  • Global Community Hour (GCH) is a monthly event that brings together the 性福五月天 community for afternoons of conversation and friendship with international and American students.
  • Come make friends, play games, and eat free snacks!
  • This event will take place from 12:30 - 2:30 p.m. in room 220 of the Kent Student Center (Pepsi Leadership Center).

Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2026 鈥 Flash Activities Board's (FAB) Karaoke

  • Join FAB in the Rathskeller for a night of Karaoke! Bring a friend and sing your heart out. Enjoy some food from Grill '72 as well!
  • This event will be in the lower level of the Kent Student Center from 7 - 9 p.m.

ALL WEEK 鈥 Poster Sale

  • Thee biggest and newest back to school poster sale is coming to 性福五月天!
  • The sale is put on by the company the College Poster Sale and is sponsored by the Flash Activities Board (FAB).
  • The sale will be all week from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on the second floor of the Kent Student Center.

Monday, Jan. 12, 2026 鈥 Bites and Beats 

  • Make sure to stop by the Kent Student Center Hub between noon and 2 p.m. for a tasty kickoff to the spring semester!
  • At the Hub, Hippie Chick'N, the Recharge Station, Golden Habanero, and more will have free food samples for you all to enjoy. Grill '72 will have special deals and branded giveaways as well during this event at the lower level of the Kent Student Center.
  • Also, come for various giveaways, including the below, pictured beanie KSU hat (for the first 125 students that check-in to the event).

 The 性福五月天 University Museum has received an award from the Helen Frankenthaler Foundation to fund a comprehensive energy audit of its historic 1928 building, Rockwell Hall. The audit will evaluate the building鈥檚 mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems and provide recommendations for sustainable facility improvements. This grant is part of the鈥疐rankenthaler鈥疐oundation鈥檚 broader鈥疐rankenthaler鈥疌limate Initiative (FCI)鈥痵upporting energy efficiency and clean energy adoption at arts institutions nationwide. Education Abroad Galapagos Islands.

  Following in the footsteps of naturalist Charles Darwin, 性福五月天 students got to experience things they have studied in their classes live and up close on an education-abroad trip to Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands.  With faculty from 性福五月天鈥檚 Department of Biological Sciences students traveled to the edge of the world this summer to hike on volcanoes, walk through lava tunnels, snorkel with sea lions, see exotic birds and stroll, somewhat slowly, with giant tortoises.   Destinations included Quito, San Cristobol Island, Santa Cruz and Isabela.
