Conduct Expectations

Every individual engaging with 性福五月天 University鈥檚 Division of Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement (DPAE) is required to comply with the policies and guidelines of the university, guidelines established for alumni and guests, and all applicable local, state and federal laws. The vice president of DPAE may delegate to the appropriate staff the authority to assist in the execution of such policies and guidelines. The following are expected of each individual guest/constituent:

  1. Maintain a professional demeanor and adhere to a high standard of etiquette as a constituent of the university
  2. Respect the dignity, individual differences and well-being of others
  3. Respect and safeguard the rights and properties of others
  4. Practice personal and professional integrity

Prohibited Behaviors

Individuals should be aware that the university does not tolerate certain acts and behaviors which are detrimental to the university and its community, including, but not limited to: 

  • Any form of harassment (see administrative policy 5-16.2 regarding complaints of Title IX sexual harassment)
  • Discourteous treatment of staff and/or event attendees
  • Use of inappropriate language
  • Disruptive behavior at events, including intoxication due to alcohol or other substances
  • Violation of personal space
  • Unprofessional use of social media or digital communication

Administrative policy regarding complaints of Title IX sexual harassment

性福五月天 University prohibits unlawful discrimination and harassment and strives to provide a safe and non-discriminatory environment for all students, employees, applicants and visitors. This policy sets forth the expectations and responsibilities for maintaining an environment free of unlawful discrimination on the basis of sex in university education programs or activities, in accordance with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 and Title 34 part 106 of the Code of Federal Regulations. Sexual harassment, including sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, and stalking is strictly prohibited by this policy. Additionally, retaliation against those whose report sexual harassment or participate in the process is prohibited. Inquiries about the application of title IX to the university may be referred to the university鈥檚 Title IX coordinator, and to the U.S. department of education, office for civil rights.

Formal Action Steps

DPAE staff reserves the right to:

  1. Issue a verbal warning and/or contact police or event security;
  2. Remove individual from event and/or suspend interaction with constituent; and/or
  3. At the discretion of DPAE, offenses may lead to revoking future access to 性福五月天 events and/or communications.

Depending on the nature and severity of the infraction, Steps 1, 2, or 3 may be repeated, skipped or not followed in sequence. Each case is considered on an individual basis through an independent review committee.
