Art Without Limits 2026

Art Without Limits will be held on October 14, 2026!

This day‑long event focuses on arts entrepreneurship and fostering an entrepreneurial mindset within the creative disciplines. Speakers will share their professional experiences and engage with attendees to help build skills, spark ideas and expand creative networks.

Guests will hear from speakers representing the fields of Theatre, Fashion, Art, Game Design, Dance, Music, Visual Communication Design, Digital Media and Marketing/Branding. These presentations on creative and arts entrepreneurship are designed to benefit students, alumni and the public alike. High school groups will attend the full program and receive customized sessions across Theatre, Fashion, Art, Game Design, Dance, Music, Visual Communication Design and related creative fields. These sessions are designed to engage and immerse prospective students in understanding viable pathways into the arts and the wide range of careers available within these disciplines.

2026 High School Registration, Activities and Sessions

A day full of engaging presentations, workshops and sessions across the disciplines of Fashion, Art, Theatre, Dance, Music, Visual Communication Design, Branding and Marketing and Game Design.

These activities offer a hands-on experience for all high school attendees and are geared specifically to students looking at careers in the arts!

Art Without Limits Speakers

  • Our featured speakers represent disciplines across the College of the Arts and industry‑facing creative fields, sharing insights on creative growth and entrepreneurship.

Discover Theatre and Dance

  • Watch a live dance rehearsal and gain insight into the art of movement.
  • Discover behind‑the‑scenes processes as theatre design and technology students showcase their creative work.
  • Participate in hands‑on acting and musical theatre workshops.

Interactive Music Sessions

  • Join a special interactive session with the KSU Steel Band.
  • Experience music through active participation and collaboration with ÐÔ¸£ÎåÔÂÌì students.
  • Explore jazz improvisation.

Fashion Workshops

  • Participate in hands‑on fashion activities, including mood boards.
  • Hear directly from fashion students about internships, employment and industry experiences.
  • Learn about career pathways in the fashion industry through student‑led discussions.

Business Entrepreneurship Showcase

  • See creativity and strategy in action as students explore how artistic passion translates into real‑world business success.
  • Participate in collaborative workshops focused on creative entrepreneurship.

Guided Art Sessions

  • Explore the state‑of‑the‑art Center for the Visual Arts through guided tours, studio demonstrations and hands‑on activities in screen printing and ARTech studios.
  • Discover creative and professional pathways in the visual arts, including textiles, ceramics, sculpture, jewelry design, art history, museum studies and curatorial work.

Game Design Demonstrations

  • Explore student‑created digital, tabletop and animated games.
  • Talk with students and faculty about careers in animation and game design.
 

Hands-on sessions will be provided by ÐÔ¸£ÎåÔÂÌì faculty and staff.
