NewsLab Provides Important Community Reporting Experiences for Students, While Helping Local Newsrooms in Crucial Times

The School of Media and Journalism organized a project called the Collaborative NewsLab to provide students with real world work experience, while newsrooms, hit with unprecedented financial challenges, were resorting to layoffs and furloughs early in the pandemic.

Honors College Senior Reflects on His College Career and Journalism Experience

Sean Fitzgerald is a senior honors student, graduating with a major in journalism and a minor in sports administration. Originally from Strongsville, Ohio, Sean says that the Honors College has come to feel like a second home in his four years at 性福五月天. In fact, Sean recalls moving back to the Stopher-Johnson honors residence halls in the fall of 2020 and accidentally saying to his family, 鈥淚鈥檓 headed home!鈥

Honors Student Reflects on Time as Editor-In-Chief of Luna Negra

Lindsey Sellman, a senior Honors College student majoring in journalism and minoring in creative writing, has spent her final year at 性福五月天 as the Editor-in-Chief of . Luna Negra is a student-led literary and arts magazine in 性福五月天鈥檚 Student Media department. Since 1956, the magazine has changed names and departments, but maintained its tradition of publishing the art and writing of 性福五月天 students.
