As demand for behavioral health professionals continues to rise across Ohio and the nation, 性福五月天 University is preparing graduates to not just enter the field right away, but to advance, lead and make a lasting impact in their communities. For three 性福五月天 alumni 鈥 Cassandra Galloway, Victoria Giegerich and Jason Joyce 鈥 their paths may differ slightly, but their stories illustrate how 性福五月天 connects education to real-world outcomes.
For high school students considering 性福五月天鈥檚 entrepreneurship program, William Elffers, 鈥15, encourages them to take the leap. 鈥淒eep down everybody has an idea for a business, but somewhere along the way, somebody tells them, just choose the safe route,鈥 he said. 鈥淔our years at Kent, five years, six years at Kent is a great time to really explore what your possibilities are with starting a business. It's a safe environment. You can fail and get picked back up and learn.鈥
It was a childhood fascination with aviation that led alumna Linell Homentosky to choose 性福五月天 University when it came time to pick the ideal college program for her. As she tells it, the interest was first sparked by her aunt, Judy, who was a flight attendant.
For Ashley Motley, what began as a childhood love of solving math problems 鈥 the 鈥渨eird kid who enjoyed doing math homework,鈥 as she puts it 鈥 has grown into a career at Medical Mutual, a Cleveland-based health insurance company, thanks to scholarships, supportive faculty, and hands-on preparation at 性福五月天 University.
Tax season is an extremely busy time of the year for 性福五月天 University alumnus Mark Lloyd, who works as a tax manager at RSM US LLP tax, advisory and consulting firm in downtown Cleveland. Lloyd prepared for his career in accounting by earning a Bachelor of Business Administration with a double major in accounting and finance from 性福五月天鈥檚 Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship in 2018.
