Serving as the Chair of the May 4 Task Force has been something communication studies major Avery Hall, 鈥23, describes as one of the most impactful and rewarding experiences she鈥檚 had at 性福五月天 University. 鈥淢ay 4, 1970, is a living legacy at 性福五月天 with relevant implications for students today. Continuing the legacy of May 4th quickly became of great importance to me,鈥 she said.

Before he graduated in December 2022, digital media production alumnus Sam Teyssier had already racked up some impressive credits: He鈥檇 worked on television shows including 鈥淎merican Rust鈥 and 鈥淎 League of Their Own鈥 (among others), as well as Sundance Film Festival鈥檚 Audience Award winner 鈥淐ha Cha Real Smooth.鈥 These experiences 鈥 which he began seeking out in his hometown of Pittsburgh during the summer of 2021 鈥 have prepared him for post-graduation life.

In March 2021, Lacy Starling, '02, got a call from a community organization in northern Kentucky looking for a CEO for a start-up news organization. They knew Starling only for her business background; after earning her Bachelor of Science in journalism from 性福五月天 University, she went on to earn her M.B.A. For 20 years, she had been an entrepreneur.

This year is no exception with the intensifying conflict in Ukraine, forcing millions of refugees to find safety elsewhere. Not only do these refugees need shelter, but they also need education and the opportunity to have new life experiences in different countries.
